Our facility adheres to BSI standards

British Standards Institution (BSI) is a service organisation that produces standards for a wide range of industries around the world. The company was founded in the UK in 1901 by Sir John Wolfe-Barry who also designed London’s Tower Bridge. It was the first company of its kind.

We have processes in place to manage every step of the production.

In the early years, BSI focused mostly on industry, creating national standards for the steel and railway industries. However, soon enough the company started issuing standards for a number of sectors and expanded to other territories. By 1945, BSI issued standards in Canada, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand. Interest was also developing in the USA and Germany.

In the post-war years, BSI expended to a number of different sectors and started issuing standards for air pollution, nuclear energy, safety colours for use in industry, schools and office furniture and food and drink.
