Sloane’s buy whole carcass Thai-Angus beef from a cooperative of farms based in the Korat region. We dry age our carcasses whole before breaking them down into a selection of steaks and various other cuts.

As well as fresh beef cuts we make stocks, burgers, sausages and a selection of cooked, cured and smoked items all inhouse.

Angus in Thailand

Due to the high quality of Angus beef, more and more countries are starting to raise their own cows. The clear goal of this breed is to produce high quality beef.  In recent years, there has been an increase in Angus beef in Thailand.

Angus cattle that are born in Thailand can adapt and grow well. Furthermore, once the selective breeding of the variety of cattle is continuous and consistent, farmers may obtain purebred Angus. Thus adding to the production of high quality cattle meat in Thailand.

All of Sloane’s beef come from Thai Angus cows. We buy whole carcasses of Thai-Angus  from a variety of farms based in the Korat region. We work only with farms that we have visited and vetted ourselves, and we source the animals directly from the farms, ensuring full control over the entire supply chain. We dry-age our carcasses whole before breaking them down.

The popularity of raising Angus

Angus cows are mainly raised in countries such as the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Argentina. Many of these countries specially produce beef for export, with the sole purpose of producing high quality meat. In fact, Angus meat is famous for its ability to produce top-grade meat that is tender, red, beautiful and with an abundance of marbling. Hence, high end steak restaurants regularly comprise of Angus meat in their menus
